What is iSocialize Gather?

iSocialize Gather (also called iS Gather or Gather) is a free real-time location-based social network. It places real people nearby on an interactive 3D map as customizable AI 3D avatars, with one-tap ice breakers, short-form video, live streaming, and a local marketplace.

Is iSocialize the same as Gather?

Yes. iSocialize Gather is the full product name. People also refer to it as iSocialize, iS Gather, Gather, or Gather by iSocialize. All names refer to the same app at gather.isocialize.me and on the App Store.

Is iSocialize Gather free?

Yes. iSocialize Gather is completely free to use. You can create an account, customize your avatar, discover nearby users, send messages, share videos, and shop the local marketplace at no cost.

How does iSocialize Gather work?

Open the app and you appear on a live 3D city map as your avatar. Other nearby users appear too. Tap any avatar to view their profile, send a one-tap ice breaker, request to connect, or message them. Your avatar walks, runs, or stands idle based on your GPS speed in real time.

How does iSocialize Gather protect my privacy?

Three privacy modes: Visible (everyone on the map sees you), Friends Only (only your connections see you), and Invisible (your location is hidden from everyone). You can also block and report users. Location data is never shared with third parties and is wiped when you go inactive.

Do I have to share my exact location?

No. Privacy modes let you hide your exact location at any time. Even when visible, position updates use intelligent jitter filtering so your dot doesn't shake. You can also switch to Global Mode to interact worldwide instead of locally.

What are ice breakers?

Ice breakers are one-tap introductions you can send to anyone nearby on the map. They're the signature way to start a conversation on iSocialize Gather without the awkwardness of cold-messaging — pick a prompt, tap, done.

Can I make my own 3D avatar?

Yes. iSocialize Gather supports both Ready Player Me and Avaturn 3D avatar builders. Customize hair, skin, outfits, and accessories. Your avatar appears on the map and animates with your real-world movement.

What platforms is iSocialize Gather on?

iSocialize Gather is live on the iOS App Store as a native app and as a Progressive Web App (PWA) at gather.isocialize.me that installs on any device — iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows. An Android-native app is in development.

How do I install the iSocialize Gather PWA?

Visit gather.isocialize.me on any phone or desktop. On iPhone Safari, tap Share → Add to Home Screen. On Android Chrome, tap the install banner or Menu → Install App. The PWA works offline-first and behaves like a native app.

Can I post short videos on iSocialize Gather?

Yes. iSocialize Gather has a TikTok-style vertical video feed. Record or upload, add a caption with hashtags, optionally tag a location, and post. Videos can be liked, commented, shared, saved, and linked to marketplace products.

Can I go live on iSocialize Gather?

Yes. Tap the Go Live button to broadcast to your followers. Viewers can send virtual gifts during the stream; gift revenue converts to coins you can cash out via Stripe Connect.

How does the iSocialize Gather marketplace work?

The marketplace is peer-to-peer for buying and selling physical goods locally. List items with photos, category, condition, and price. Buyers checkout securely with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card. Sellers receive payouts via Stripe Connect.

What is Global Mode?

Global Mode lets you see and connect with users worldwide on the map instead of just within your immediate area. Toggle it on to discover people in any city; toggle off to focus on your local 50 km radius.

Is iSocialize Gather safe?

iSocialize Gather requires email or Apple/Google sign-in. All users must be 18 or older. Block and report tools are available on every profile and message. Moderators review reports and remove violating content. Location data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

How do I delete my iSocialize Gather account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your profile, posts, messages, and location data are permanently removed within 30 days. You can also email info@isocialize.me to request deletion.
